After watching the live broadcast of Vikram Lander’s moon landing, the President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu conveyed his congratulatory message to ISRO and all those associated with the Chandrayaan-3 mission.
In her message, the President said: “there are days when history is made. Today, with the successful moon landing of the Chandrayaan-3 mission, our scientists have not only made history, they have also remade the idea of geography! It is truly a momentous occasion, the once in a lifetime kind of event that makes all Indians proud. I congratulate ISRO and all those involved in this mission and wish them greater future achievements.
I believe that Chandrayaan’s success is also an important achievement for all mankind. It shows how India has leveraged its rich traditional knowledge base along with modern science in the service of humanity.”
