President Murmu Highlights Role of JC Bose University in Fourth Industrial Revolution

The President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, attended the 5th convocation of JC Bose University of Science and Technology in Faridabad today, where she emphasized the critical role that educational institutions play in the ongoing Fourth Industrial Revolution. She cited the increased access to the internet in remote areas as a prime example, which has generated numerous online employment opportunities. President Murmu lauded JC Bose University for its pivotal role in shaping a skilled and self-reliant youth. The President urged the university administration to enhance the involvement of the Alumni Association, ensuring that their contributions continue to benefit the institution.

In her address, President Murmu reflected on the universityโ€™s namesake, the eminent scientist Jagadish Chandra Bose, who was a pioneer in modern science. She reminded the students of Boseโ€™s groundbreaking discovery that plants and trees have feelings, a revelation that transformed our understanding of the botanical world.
