A remaster of the iconic game Halo: Combat Evolved is reportedly in development at Microsoft, as hinted by Phil Spencer, the CEO of the company’s gaming division, during the recent Xbox Games Showcase. While Spencer did not explicitly name the game, he referred to it as a โreturn of a classicโ that will coincide with the 25th anniversary of Xbox next year. This announcement follows last year’s confirmation that multiple Halo titles are being developed using Unreal Engine 5.
