NxtQuantum Launches as India’s Native Mobile Operating System

NxtQuantum Shift Technologies, an Indian deep tech software firm, has unveiled its indigenous mobile operating system, NxtQuantum OS. The company asserts that this OS was developed entirely in India and prioritizes user data security by ensuring that no information is stored on servers outside the country. Founded by Madhav Sheth, NxtQuantum is also in the process of launching AI+ smartphones, with the first devices featuring the new operating system set to debut on July 8 in India.

NxtQuantum OS and Data Security

In a recent press release, NxtQuantum Shift Technologies introduced its mobile operating system, NxtQuantum OS, which aims to give users comprehensive control over their data. The company emphasizes transparency regarding data storage, access permissions, and the reasons for data sharing. All user data, including preferences and usage history, is stored on Google Cloud servers approved by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) in India. The OS is built on a zero-trust security model, which means that unauthorized access and foreign data routing are strictly prohibited. Madhav Sheth, the founder and CEO, stated, “What you do on your device stays with you. Not even we can access it.”

Features of NxtQuantum OS

While specific details about the user interface and customization options remain limited, NxtQuantum has provided insights into the capabilities of its operating system. NxtQuantum OS is designed to be built and updated through an Indian product stack, ensuring that it meets local needs and preferences. The OS incorporates system-level telemetry controls, which allow for the remote collection and transmission of data from devices to servers. Additionally, it utilizes locally trained artificial intelligence engines to enhance various features, making the user experience more intuitive and context-aware.

Upcoming Smartphones with NxtQuantum OS

The first smartphones to come pre-loaded with NxtQuantum OS will be the AI+ Pulse and Nova 5G, both scheduled for launch on July 8 in India. These devices are expected to showcase the unique features of the operating system, emphasizing user data security and local AI capabilities. As the company continues to develop its technology, it aims to position itself as a leader in the Indian tech landscape, focusing on innovation and user-centric design.

Future Prospects for NxtQuantum Shift Technologies

With the launch of NxtQuantum OS and its accompanying smartphones, NxtQuantum Shift Technologies is poised to make a significant impact in the mobile operating system market. The company’s commitment to data privacy and local development aligns with growing consumer demand for secure and reliable technology solutions. As the tech landscape evolves, NxtQuantum’s focus on building a robust, user-friendly operating system could attract a loyal customer base, paving the way for future advancements in the industry.
