New MoU to Boost Science Communication in Andhra Pradesh

The CSIR–National Institute of Science Communication and Policy Research (CSIR-NIScPR) has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Science City of Andhra Pradesh (SCAP). This partnership aims to enhance science communication and foster collaborative research, focusing on Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) policy. The initiative is designed to promote evidence-based policymaking and improve public understanding of science, ultimately building a vibrant scientific community through shared research endeavors and outreach initiatives.

The MoU signing ceremony took place in Amravati and featured key representatives from both organizations. Dr. Geetha Vani Rayasam, Director of CSIR-NIScPR, along with Sri M.T. Krishna Babu, Special Chief Secretary to the Government of Andhra Pradesh, and Sri Venkateswarlu Kesineni, CEO of SCAP, were present. Notable attendees included senior officials from the institutions, and representatives from NIScPR, Dr. Yogesh Suman and Dr. N.K. Prasanna, will oversee the projects outlined in the agreement.
