Netflix Teams Up with IICT & FICCI to Fuel India’s Creative Tech Revolution
Netflix India has announced a significant partnership with the Indian Institute of Creative Technology (IICT) and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) to enhance the skills of students in India’s Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality (AVGC-XR) sectors. The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed during the 25th edition of FICCI Frames, with notable attendees including Sanjay Jaju, Secretary of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting. This collaboration aims to leverage Netflix’s creative expertise, IICT’s industry-focused curriculum, and FICCI’s extensive network to cultivate talent in the creative technology landscape of India.

Netflix will provide students with opportunities to learn directly from industry professionals through workshops, masterclasses, and guest lectures. Additionally, Netflix will utilize its Fund for Creative Equity to offer scholarships to selected students in collaboration with IICT.
