Naya Savera Scheme
The Ministry has implemented the “Naya Savera” (“Free Coaching and Related Program”) program to assist students/candidates belonging to the six notified minority communities, namely Sikh, Jain, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist and Parsi, through a special coaching for the qualification exams for admission to technical-professional courses and competition for recruitment to group Á, ‘B’ and ‘C’ services and other equivalent positions of the State and the State including public administrations, banks and the railways. The scheme has been implemented across the country through integrated Project Implementing Agencies (PIAs).
Since inception, 1,19,223 minority students/applicants have benefited from the Naya Savera scheme, of which 12,155 beneficiaries were from the state of Andhra Pradesh. Details of physical achievements over the last three years are below:

The length of the coaching period under the program ranged from 3 months to 2 years depending on the coaching program assigned to the PIAs. The scheme was discontinued wef 2022-23.
