MoS Rajeev Chandrasekhar to address 8th Rozgar Mela in Hyderabad tomorrow

Assistant Minister for Skills Development, Entrepreneurship and Electronics and Information Technology, Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar, will address on 8th tranche of Rozgar Mela, to be held tomorrow at Men’s Club, Group Center, CRPF Hyderabad. The event will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who will present the candidates with letters of offer of nomination. It is expected to distribute more than 51,000 letters of appointment to recently hired recruits.

In July, at the Rozgar Mela in Chennai, MoS Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar reiterated Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s message to introduce a new “Seva” or public service culture into government workplaces. He spoke of a sea change in the way people perceive governance and government jobs.

In a recent speech at the Rozgar Mela in Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister Shri Modi commended the newly appointed 5,800 primary school teachers and stressed that their role in implementing the national education policy will be crucial. He underlined the equal importance given to traditional knowledge and emerging technologies, noting the development of a new curriculum in primary education.

The Rozgar Mela was conducted in 44 locations nationwide. The ongoing recruitment campaign affects central government departments, state governments and union territories, in line with the commitment to prioritize job creation. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 22 Octoberna last year, he initiated the ‘Rozgar Mela’ campaign, marking the start of a bid to create 10 lakh government jobs.
