For the occasion, Dr. Jitendra Singh also released the IAS Civil List 2023. The publication of the e-book IAS Civil List 2023 has enabled the Department of Personnel and Training to do away with the traditional way of printing the voluminous civil list IAS. The IAS Civil list e-book is an effort by the Department to contribute to the Government of India’s Digital India initiative. This move will also lead to an economic use of resources by reducing the expenditure for the publication of the civic list. This IAS Civil List2023 e-book, contains photographs and the following information of IAS officers of all state cadres.
Every year DOP&T publishes the Civil List of IAS officers operating on the national territory at various levels. The availability of the Civilian Directory to all interested parties and the general public is a vital source of information on IAS officers holding various posts. This is the 68th edition of the Civil List and the third edition of the pdf e-book, launched in 2023, with unique search functions and content hyperlinking for easy one-click access to information.
