MOIL marked a significant milestone as it celebrated its 61st founding day on the 22ndna June 2023. The momentous occasion was graced by Shri Nagendra Nath Sinha, Secretary, Govt. of India, Ministry of Steel as chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, the Secretary of the Ministry of Steel congratulated MOIL on the occasion and urged them to improve production.
Shri AK Saxena, CMD, MOIL highlighted the positive performance of the company in recent months and expressed confidence in the record performance for FY’24. Several dignitary magazines and handbooks were also released on this occasion.
A gala music function was organized on this occasion with headlining artists Shri Pawandeep Ranjan and Arunita Kanjilal (winners of Indian Idol 12) and Shri Gaurav Sharma, stand-up comedian. Cultural events were organized throughout the company and on this occasion the winning teams of the various mines also exhibited.
As part of his 61st foundation daya series of events has been organized by the company including a 60,000 plant planting campaign in FY24, blood donation camps, cardiac diagnostics and medicine camps, and cultural programs throughout MOIL’s mines.
