Ministry of Culture Successfully Conducted the Swachhata Campaign

The Ministry of Culture, through its allied, subordinate and autonomous organisations, has successfully conducted the Swachhata campaign from December 2022 to August 2023 and has been regularly uploading monthly reports on the SCDPM portal.

During this period, the Ministry achieved 100% divestment in Inter-Ministerial Consultation (IMC) references (Council of Ministers proposal), nearly 82% divestment in state government. references, disposal 86% in PMO references, disposal 73% in MP references. Of the total physical files earmarked for review, 71% of files were reviewed. Furthermore, the cleanliness drive was successfully conducted at 56 sites out of the 66 identified Swachhata campaign sites.

Swachhata Pakhwada has also been observed by the Ministry since 16thth at 30th In April 2023 and during this pakhwada, the Swachhata Pledge has been administered to all officials and employees of this Ministry. Swachhata inspection of all sections/divisions and surrounding offices was carried out to ensure cleanliness and proper management of records. A cleanliness/shramdan drive was organized to make the internal and surrounding offices of Shastri Bhawan neat and clean.
