Max Healthcare Gains NCVET Dual Awarding Body Recognition
Max Healthcare Institute Ltd. has taken a major stride in healthcare education by signing an agreement with the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) on April 10, 2026. This agreement grants Max Healthcare the prestigious status of a Dual Awarding Body (AB-Dual), allowing it to assess, certify, and award qualifications across various healthcare programs. This recognition aligns with India’s national objective to enhance employability through standardized vocational frameworks, significantly bolstering industry-led skilling in the country.
Industry-Aligned Programs to Enhance Skills
Through its academic branch, the Max Institute of Medical Education (MIME), Max Healthcare will design and implement programs that are closely aligned with industry needs and NCVET standards. Among the first courses offered are “AI Foundation for Digital Health” (NSQF Level 3.0) and “Applied AI for Healthcare Systems” (NSQF Level 5.5). These programs focus on building essential competencies in artificial intelligence, digital health technologies, and data-driven clinical systems. MIME will oversee all aspects of curriculum development, training delivery, and assessment frameworks, ensuring that the education provided is of the highest quality and prepares students for the future workforce.
Enhancing Access to Quality Healthcare Education
The impact of the Dual Awarding Body status is expected to be far-reaching, enhancing access to quality skilling opportunities in the healthcare sector. By equipping professionals with the skills needed to meet the evolving demands of the industry, this initiative aims to create a robust pipeline of skilled individuals ready to contribute to the healthcare landscape.
A Key Collaboration for Educational Advancement
The agreement was formalized in the presence of notable figures including Smt. Debashree Mukherjee, Secretary of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and Chairperson of NCVET, as well as Prof. (Dr.) Ashok Kumar Gaba, an Executive Member of NCVET.
