Masterclass Series Launches at WAVES Summit
Mumbai, February 27, 2025 – The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB) has partnered with Dancing Atoms, a creative studio with roots in both Los Angeles and India, to present an exciting masterclass series as part of the World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES). This initiative includes the Animation Filmmakers Competition (AFC), which aims to spotlight independent creators, students, and studios by offering them a platform to showcase their animated short films. Winners will receive global recognition, mentorship from industry leaders, and potential funding and distribution opportunities.
Masterclass Schedule and Highlights
The masterclass series will feature a lineup of esteemed industry experts who will share their insights on various aspects of filmmaking, including screenplay writing, animation, and storytelling. The following sessions are scheduled:
- March 3 – Producing Blockbuster Films
Speaker: Shobu Yarlagadda (Producer of the Baahubali series)
Highlights: This session will cover the development, financing, and production of high-impact films.
