Scene 1: Sleepless Night and Deadly Swap
The episode opens with Mangal lying in bed, unable to find sleep as her mind keeps replaying Bhabhi Ji’s important words from earlier. She remembers how Bhabhi Ji told her that now is the time to start thinking about herself and her own needs for once in her life.
As she tosses and turns, Mangal recalls that tomorrow is the final round of the cooking competition, which will be the biggest day in her journey so far. Despite her excitement, she realizes she still has many important arrangements and preparations to complete before the big event. Feeling thirsty, Mangal gets up from her bed and drinks some water to refresh herself. Then she remembers that it is time to take her regular medicine before going to sleep. Due to her blurry vision from the earlier accident, she carefully makes her way to the washroom to wash her hands before taking the medication.
While Mangal is busy in the washroom, Sowmya quietly enters the room with evil intentions. She carries a bottle of deadly rat poison in her hands and quickly swaps it with Mangal’s regular medicine bottle. Sowmya feels satisfied with her wicked plan and thinks to herself that Mangal will definitely die tonight after taking this poison instead of her medicine.
Just as Sowmya is about to leave the room after completing her dangerous task, she hears the bathroom door opening. Mangal comes out of the washroom, but due to her poor vision, she cannot see that Sowmya is standing right there in the room with her. Taking advantage of this situation, Sowmya quietly slips out of the room without being detected.
Mangal picks up what she believes is her medicine bottle and immediately notices that it has a very strange and unusual smell. However, since her vision is impaired and she assumes it must be her regular medication, she decides to proceed with taking it. She lies down on her bed and prepares to consume the deadly poison.
Scene 2: Sowmya’s Dream and Kusum’s Life-Saving Arrival
In Sowmya’s twisted imagination, she pictures Mangal taking the poison and immediately starting to feel suffocated and struggling to breathe. The thought of Mangal suffering fills Sowmya with wicked delight, and she imagines how her rival will finally be eliminated from the competition and her life. However, this disturbing scene is only happening in Sowmya’s mind as a daydream of what she hopes will occur. In reality, Mangal has not yet taken the poisoned tablets and is still safe in her room.
Back in the real world, Mangal notices that wind is blowing strongly through her open window, making the room quite cold. She slowly gets up from her bed and walks over to close the window properly to keep the cold air out. After securing the window, Mangal returns to look for her medicine bottle. She picks up the container filled with rat poison tablets, completely unaware of the deadly danger she is about to face. Just as she is about to put the poisonous tablets in her mouth, Kusum arrives at her room at exactly the right moment.
Kusum immediately notices what Mangal is holding and quickly stops her from consuming the deadly substance. “Why are you about to take rat poison?” Kusum asks with shock and alarm. “If I had not arrived here just now, you would have been in very serious danger and might have died.” Mangal looks confused and explains her innocent mistake. “My regular medicines are always kept in this same place,” she tells Kusum. “I just assumed that this bottle contained my usual medication since my vision is not clear right now.”
Kusum becomes suspicious and wonders aloud, “Who would have placed rat poison in your room where your medicines are normally kept? This seems very strange and deliberate.” Sowmya, who has been hiding nearby and watching everything unfold, becomes extremely stressed when she realizes her murder plan has failed. Mangal tries to calm Kusum’s concerns by suggesting, “Please do not worry too much about this incident. Maybe one of the household workers accidentally placed this bottle here by mistake.”
As Sowmya attempts to leave the area quietly, her saree gets caught on something, creating a small noise. Kusum continues praising Mangal’s character, saying, “Despite everything that Sowmya has done to hurt you and cause you trouble, you still risked your own life to save her during the competition. This proves that you are truly a special person with a pure heart.” Sowmya manages to hide herself completely before Kusum can spot her presence.
Scene 3: Adit’s Secret Call and Expensive Demands
In another part of the house, Adit is having a phone conversation with Bhabhi Ji about work-related matters. “I will send you the presentation very soon,” he tells her while discussing their upcoming project plans. Sowmya enters the room during this call and becomes suspicious about who Adit is talking to. “Who is this Bhabhi Ji person that you keep talking to?” she demands to know, feeling left out of his conversations.
Adit quickly thinks of a lie to cover up his secret identity as Bhabhi Pa in the cooking competition. He makes up a story to satisfy Sowmya’s curiosity without revealing the truth about his involvement in the show. However, Sowmya is not satisfied with his explanation and begins creating a dramatic scene. “You and your mother only care about Mangal and her problems,” she accuses him angrily. “You never show the same concern or attention toward me, even though I am your wife.”
Adit tries to reason with her and remind her of recent events. “You and our unborn baby are both safe and healthy today only because Mangal risked her own life to protect you during the competition,” he points out. “She saved both of you from serious harm.” But Sowmya refuses to accept this logic and continues arguing with him. “This baby belongs to both of us, not just me,” she says stubbornly. Then she shifts the conversation to material demands, complaining, “You never buy me any gifts or special presents to show that you care about me.”
When Adit asks what kind of gift she would like, Sowmya makes an unreasonable demand. “I want you to buy me a very expensive necklace that costs seven lakh rupees,” she tells him confidently. Adit knows this amount is far beyond their financial means, but he agrees to her demand anyway. “It will be difficult to arrange, but I will find a way to get it for you,” he promises her.
Internally, Adit thinks about how even a gift worth seven thousand rupees would be challenging with his current salary, but Sowmya has no idea about their real financial situation. After making this expensive promise, Adit leaves the room feeling worried about how he will fulfill it.
Scene 4: Neil’s Theft Attempt and Competition Arrival
After Adit leaves, Sowmya reconsiders her strategy for dealing with Mangal. She decides that trying to harm Mangal directly is becoming too risky because she might get caught in the act. Additionally, since Mangal is already dealing with vision problems from her eye injury, there is a good chance she might not be able to participate effectively in the final competition anyway.
Meanwhile, Mangal attempts to put eye drops in her eyes to help with her vision problems, but she struggles to do this properly due to her impaired sight. Kusum arrives to assist her and carefully helps Mangal apply the medication to her eyes. Kusum also brings Mangal a bowl of delicious gajar ka halwa as a special treat. “Eat this sweet dish and then keep your eyes closed for fifteen minutes to let the eye drops work properly,” she instructs Mangal before leaving the room.
While Mangal is sitting with her eyes closed as instructed, Neil quietly enters her room with dishonest intentions. He notices that Mangal cannot see him clearly and takes advantage of this situation to steal money from her bag. Neil even dances playfully in front of her, thinking she is completely blind and cannot detect his presence.
As Neil is about to leave with the stolen money, Mangal suddenly grabs his ear firmly. Shocked by being caught, Neil drops all the money on the floor and stares at her in confusion. “How did you catch me when you cannot see properly?” Neil asks, completely surprised by her quick reflexes. Mangal explains to him, “I am not completely blind, and I was able to see enough to notice you stealing from my bag.” She then gives him some wise advice, saying, “You should not choose to follow the wrong path in life by stealing from others.”
Neil tries to justify his actions by saying, “I needed the money for something important.” But Mangal responds with kindness and understanding, “If your intentions are good and you genuinely need help, then I will find a way to assist you properly. But you must promise me that you will never steal again.”
Neil agrees to her conditions and promises to change his behavior before leaving her room. Mangal thinks to herself that she must find ways to guide Neil toward making better choices in his life. Checking the time, Mangal sees that it is already 12:30 and realizes she needs to prepare quickly to reach the competition venue on time for the important final round.
At the competition location, Sowmya speaks to Bhabhi Ji and tries to create doubt about Mangal’s participation. “I do not think Mangal will be able to come today,” she says confidently. “And even if she does manage to arrive, she will not be able to cook properly with her vision problems.” She pressures Bhabhi Ji to begin the finale without waiting any longer. “We should start the competition now instead of wasting more time,” Sowmya urges.
But Bhabhi Ji responds with patience and fairness. “We can wait for Mangal to arrive, unlike some people who only think about themselves,” she says pointedly. Sowmya argues back, “How can Mangal possibly cook when she cannot see what she is doing? It would be dangerous and impossible for her to participate.”
As Sowmya gestures dramatically while making her point, her hand accidentally hits a glass bowl, sending it flying through the air. At that exact moment, Mangal arrives at the competition venue and catches the falling glass jar just in time, preventing it from breaking on the ground.
