Scene 1: Mangal’s Vision Problems and Near Accident
The episode opens with Adit carefully driving Mangal back to her home in his car. He deliberately changes his voice so that Mangal cannot recognize who he really is. When they finally reach her house, he tells her in his disguised voice, “We have arrived at your house now.” Mangal feels grateful for the help and thanks the kind stranger who brought her home safely. However, because of the liquid accident that happened during the cooking show, her vision is severely affected and she cannot see things clearly around her.
Due to her blurry vision, Mangal starts walking in the completely wrong direction without realizing her mistake. She heads straight toward the busy main road where cars and trucks are moving at high speed. This puts her in immediate danger of getting hit by the fast-moving vehicles. Seeing this dangerous situation developing, Adit becomes alarmed and shouts out Mangal’s name urgently to get her attention. He quickly jumps out of his car and rushes to save her just in time before any vehicle can strike her.
After pulling her to safety, Adit scolds Mangal for being so careless with her movements. “You are walking in the wrong direction,” he tells her firmly. “You may not be able to see properly right now, but you can still hear sounds around you. You should be more careful and listen to the traffic noises.” Mangal apologizes for her mistake and thanks him for saving her life. Then she asks him curiously, “How did you know that I cannot see properly? I did not tell you about my vision problems.”
Adit thinks quickly and replies, “I just guessed it from the way you were walking and moving around.” He then asks her with concern, “What exactly happened to your eyes that caused this problem?” Mangal explains the accident that occurred during the cooking competition. “Some liquid splashed directly into my eyes while I was participating in the cooking show,” she tells him. “Ever since then, my vision has been blurry and unclear.”
Adit asks her how she plans to manage her daily activities in this condition. Mangal tries to sound brave and independent as she responds, “I can manage on my own. I am able to see slightly, so I think I will be okay.”
Scene 2: Family Tensions and Sowmya’s Relief
Meanwhile, inside the house, Sowmya sits comfortably in the main hall browsing through different dress options on her phone. She is enjoying her time looking at beautiful clothes and selecting outfits for herself online. Kusum notices Sowmya sitting there and becomes concerned about her wellbeing. She approaches Sowmya and asks, “Are you feeling unwell today? Do we need to visit a doctor to check if everything is alright with you and the baby?”
Although Sowmya feels irritated by these constant health questions, she hides her annoyance and responds politely. “I am feeling completely fine,” she assures Kusum. “I will just rest for a while and then prepare the food for everyone.” But Kusum immediately stops her from making any such plans. “You are pregnant now,” she reminds Sowmya firmly. “You should not be doing heavy work like cooking. I will handle all the kitchen duties instead.”
Internally, Sowmya feels very happy about this arrangement. She thinks to herself how glad she is that Kusum will take care of all the housework. This also means she will not have to face Mangal again at the cooking competition, which makes her feel relieved.
Just then, Adit brings Mangal inside the house, supporting her carefully as she walks with her limited vision. Kusum immediately notices something is wrong and asks with concern, “What has happened to Mangal? Why does she look like she is having trouble seeing?”
Adit explains the situation to Kusum using careful words. “Some ice-cream making liquid accidentally entered Mangal’s eyes during her work,” he tells her. “Since Akshat is away on his school trip right now, Mangal cannot manage alone at her own house.” He continues to justify why Mangal needs to stay with them. “The doctor has advised Mangal not to strain her eyes at all,” Adit adds. “So it would be better if she stays here where someone can take care of her properly.”
Sowmya becomes suspicious of Adit’s detailed knowledge about the situation. “How are you so sure that we cannot leave Mangal alone at her own place?” she questions him directly. Adit responds quickly, “This is just common sense. I cannot leave her in this dangerous condition where she might hurt herself again. If something bad happens to her, I will not be able to answer my children about why I did not help their mother.”
He then turns to Sowmya and requests, “Please get some water for Mangal so she can rest comfortably.” This request makes Sowmya feel even more irritated about the whole situation.
Scene 3: Kusum’s Scolding and Bhabhi Ji’s Dramatic Entry
Kusum looks at Mangal with disappointment and starts scolding her harshly for the accident. “How can someone who has been working in kitchens for so many years get into such a terrible mess?” she asks. “How did you manage to injure your eyes so badly during a simple cooking task?” She continues her criticism without giving Mangal a chance to explain properly. “I do not understand why such unfortunate things always happen specifically to you,” Kusum says. “Sowmya also works in the same place, but nothing ever happens to her. What is wrong with you that you keep getting into trouble?”
Sowmya listens to this scolding and feels satisfied that her plan is working perfectly. She thinks to herself how successfully she has managed to lower Mangal’s reputation in Kusum’s mind. She hopes desperately that Mangal will not reveal the truth about how she got injured while trying to save Sowmya from danger.
Mangal chooses to keep the real story to herself and simply says, “It was just an unfortunate accident that happened during the competition.” But Kusum continues her harsh words without bothering to listen to any explanations. Suddenly, Bhabhi Ji arrives at their house unexpectedly and hears Kusum shouting at Mangal. She immediately intervenes and rebukes Kusum for her behavior. “Why are you scolding this poor woman so harshly?” she demands.
Kusum looks at the stranger with confusion. “Who are you and why are you interfering in our family matters?” she asks Bhabhi Ji. When Adit sees Bhabhi Ji entering the house, he quickly hides himself so she cannot spot him and realize his connection to this family. Sowmya recognizes Bhabhi Ji from the competition and greets her nervously.
Bhabhi Ji addresses Kusum directly and asks, “Why are you shouting at Mangal without knowing the complete truth about what really happened?” When Sowmya tries to interrupt and stop Bhabhi Ji from speaking, Bhabhi Ji silences her with a stern look.
Scene 4: The Truth Revealed and Sowmya’s Confrontation
Bhabhi Ji decides to reveal the complete truth about the cooking competition incident. “Mangal saved Sowmya’s life during the competition,” she announces to everyone. “Mangal landed in this trouble specifically because she was trying to protect Sowmya from danger.” She provides more details about Sowmya’s behavior during the competition. “Sowmya created multiple problems and difficulties for Mangal throughout the entire cooking round,” Bhabhi Ji explains. “Despite all of this unfair treatment, Mangal still chose to save Sowmya and her unborn baby when they were in danger.”
Mangal becomes curious and asks Bhabhi Ji, “How did you know that I was staying here at this house? I did not tell anyone about coming here.” Bhabhi Ji replies, “I went to your home first to check on your condition. When I found that you were not there, I learned from neighbors that you had come to stay here.” Bhabhi Ji continues praising Mangal’s character in front of the family. “Mangal is a very special person with a pure heart,” she declares. “I have never seen such a selfless and caring person in my entire life.”
After hearing the truth, Kusum agrees with Bhabhi Ji’s assessment. “You are absolutely right. Mangal is truly a special person who always thinks about others before herself.” Bhabhi Ji then turns her attention to Sowmya and questions her directly. “Why did you not inform your family members about how Mangal saved your life?” she asks. “Do you not think they deserve to know the truth about what really happened?”
Sowmya tries to defend herself by claiming, “I was planning to tell them about it soon. I just had not found the right time yet.” Bhabhi Ji suggests sarcastically, “Maybe you should call your husband right now so I can tell him personally how his ex-wife saved his current wife’s life.” This suggestion makes everyone uncomfortable. Mangal quickly interrupts to prevent further conflict. “This is a private family matter,” she says diplomatically. “My mother will take proper care of me, so there is no need for outside interference.”
Bhabhi Ji also reminds everyone about Mangal’s previous sacrifices. “Do not forget that Mangal left her own competition earlier to come and save Kusum when she needed help.” Before leaving, Bhabhi Ji shares important information about the upcoming competition. “Tomorrow is the final round of the cooking competition,” she announces. “The winner of Pehla Swad will be selected within the next 24 hours.” She advises Mangal to be very careful and then departs from their house.
After Bhabhi Ji leaves, Sowmya goes straight to her room feeling angry and frustrated. She confronts Adit about his behavior during the entire incident. “Why did you not come out to support me when Bhabhi Ji was insulting me in front of everyone?” she demands. Adit tries to make an excuse for his absence. “I do not know anything about any cooking competition,” he claims. “I was taking a bath when all this discussion was happening.”
But Sowmya catches him in his lie immediately. “If you were taking a bath, how did you know that we were discussing the cooking competition?” she asks pointedly. “Also, you do not look like someone who just finished taking a bath.” Adit realizes he has been caught but thinks to himself that he absolutely cannot let Sowmya discover that he works as Bhabhi Pa in the cooking show. This secret must remain hidden at all costs.

Precap: Sowmya makes a dangerous plan to eliminate Mangal permanently. She secretly swaps Mangal’s regular medicine with deadly poison, intending to kill her rival. When Mangal takes the poisoned medicine without knowing what it really is, she immediately starts experiencing suffocation and breathing difficulties. Sowmya watches this happening and realizes her deadly plan is working exactly as she intended.
