Lenovo plans to offer additional configurations in May, starting at $599.99, or around ₹51,500. On the other hand, the SteamOS version will begin at a more affordable price of $499.99, roughly ₹42,900, with availability also set for May.
Both versions of the Legion Go S will be offered in two attractive color options: Glacier White and Nebula Violet. While Lenovo has provided details on the Legion Go S, the launch date for the anticipated Legion Go 2 remains undisclosed. This upcoming model is expected to feature enhanced specifications, making it a highly anticipated release for gaming enthusiasts.

The Lenovo Legion Go S boasts impressive specifications that cater to gamers’ needs. It features an 8-inch WQXGA LCD screen with a resolution of 1,920×1,200 pixels. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate and offers a peak brightness of 500 nits, ensuring vibrant visuals and smooth gameplay. At CES 2025, Lenovo also showcased a prototype of the Legion Go 2, generating excitement among gaming fans. This next-generation handheld console is expected to feature a larger 8.8-inch WUXGA OLED display, with a resolution of 1,920×1,200 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate. This upgrade promises even smoother visuals and a more immersive gaming experience.
The Legion Go 2 is anticipated to be powered by an AMD Ryzen Z2 series processor, paired with 32GB of RAM running at 7500MHz. Like its predecessor, it is expected to come pre-installed with Windows 11, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of games and applications.
While the prototype shares similar wireless connectivity and storage specifications with the Legion Go S, Lenovo has yet to disclose details about the number of ports and speakers that will be included in the final version. The prototype is equipped with a 4-cell 74Wh battery, supporting 65W fast charging. It measures 295.6×136.7×42.25mm and weighs around 1kg. However, as this is still a prototype, specifications may change before the official launch.
