Aravind Adiga’s acclaimed novel “Last Man in Tower” is set to make its cinematic debut, with the film scheduled for release in Indian theatres on September 11, 2026. Directed by Ben Rekhi and produced by Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media, the film features a stellar cast including Manoj Bajpayee, Boman Irani, Divya Dutta, and Sukant Goel. The film delves into complex themes such as personal conviction, evolving relationships, and the tough choices individuals face when their circumstances shift. At the heart of the story is Masterji, a retired school teacher who stands firm in his beliefs while those around him begin to make different choices. One of the key characters whose decisions conflict with Masterji is Mrs. Puri. Her aspirations and compromises are shaped by the allure of a different future.
