Rajveer and Preeta Discuss Wedding Plans
Rajveer asks his mother, Preeta, what’s wrong with him. Preeta tells him there’s nothing wrong; they just have a lot to plan for his wedding. Rajveer suggests that Preeta talk to Palki’s mom about the wedding expenses since Palki’s family might not have much savings. Preeta says she already discussed the matter with Rakhi, who wants to cover the expenses as she sees Rajveer as her grandson. Preeta advises Rajveer to use his savings for something more meaningful, like feeding the unprevilaged or helping an orphanage. She says that since Rakhi wants to handle the costs, they should let her. Then, Preeta reminds Rajveer that it’s a big day and he should get ready.
Meanwhile, Sunny walks into Shaurya’s room and starts to leave when Shaurya asks where he’s going. Sunny says he was looking for him. Shaurya admits he hasn’t bought anything for the wedding and wants to go shopping. When Sunny asks who Shaurya is marrying, Shaurya says it’s Palki and confesses this because Sunny is his best friend. Shaurya jokes that Sunny shouldn’t ask such questions right before the wedding and explains that he’s sure he won’t be marrying Shanaya.
Dress Choices and Family Conversations
In another scene, Kritika shows Kavya two dress choices, saying they are the best options available. But Shanaya, looking for something better, says she wants the best dress for her sister-in-law. Karina tells Rakhi that it feels like just yesterday Shaurya was a little boy, and now he’s getting married. Preeta arrives at the Luthra Mansion, where Kavya is choosing dresses for her sisters-in-law. Karan picks a saree and likes the color. Kavya and Kritika also approve of his choice. Rakhi tells Karan that girls usually don’t like wearing sarees, but Karan says he thought it would look nice on Preeta. Preeta, however, refuses, saying she already has many sarees.
Preeta then asks Nidhi to try on the saree, thinking it would look great on her. But Nidhi refuses, saying she doesn’t like the color, despite knowing that Karan chose it. Karina is surprised and says that the saree looks beautiful. Preeta insists that Nidhi should wear it since Karan picked it out. Nidhi, however, says that her and Karan’s tastes don’t always match, and she doesn’t like his choice. She adds that spouses should like each other’s preferences, but also that they should be compatible as a couple. Preeta is confused by this, and Nidhi says that only those involved would understand. Karan, frustrated, says it’s fine if Nidhi doesn’t want to wear it and angrily leaves to make a phone call.
Daljeet arrives at the Luthra Mansion with Palki and Shanaya. Daljeet thanks Rakhi for inviting them, and Rakhi says they couldn’t shop without them. Palki greets Kavya, and Shanaya takes blessings from Rakhi. Daljeet compliments Rakhi for bringing so many dresses, and Rakhi replies that they had to, since two beautiful girls are joining their family. Kavya tells Daljeet that Kritika Bua is very excited about picking out dresses for her sisters-in-law. Preeta offers to make breakfast and heads to the kitchen.
Karan and Preeta’s Emotional Conversation – Kundali Bhagya written update today
While talking on the phone, Karan says no one from the house will be going to the office today. Preeta approaches him and apologizes, saying she did like the saree and its color. Karan, confused, asks why she didn’t accept it if she liked it. Preeta explains that Nidhi, as Karan’s wife, wouldn’t appreciate it, and they need to respect her feelings. Karan steps closer and asks if she’s sure there’s nothing between them. Preeta becomes flustered and stares at him, unable to respond. Karan asks again if she really believes there’s nothing between them, as he feels there is. Preeta, startled, says she needs to make tea for everyone and quickly leaves. Karan, left confused but smiling, realizes he might have said too much and scolds himself for it.
Back in the living room, Kavya asks Palki and Shanaya to choose their outfits. Rakhi teases them for being nervous and tells them to relax. Kritika also jokes that even Rajveer is blushing. Rajveer tries to downplay it, saying he was only commenting on the color of the dress. Everyone smiles.
Shaurya, standing on the balcony, asks Rajveer what’s going on with him. Karina calls Shaurya downstairs, where Rakhi instructs the workers to show the dresses to the ladies. Karina tells Shaurya that they are preparing for his engagement and asks him to pick out a dress for Shanaya, just as Rajveer selected one for Palki. Shaurya jokes that Rajveer is eyeing Shanaya but choosing clothes for Palki, which surprises everyone. He quickly clarifies that he’s just joking and tells them to relax.

Preeta brings water for everyone and says tea and breakfast are on the way. She notices Shaurya smiling and tears up, saying that he had been angry with her for days, but now, he’s finally smiled at her. Shaurya, feeling guilty, apologizes to everyone for his past behavior. He admits he’s misbehaved but wants to make amends, especially with “Mother India,” Preeta. He explains that sometimes, people take their loved ones for granted, assuming they’ll always be there. Preeta, touched, says it’s good that he’s realized his mistake and that he doesn’t need to apologize. She hugs Shaurya, which makes Rajveer happy too.
Nidhi, watching this, remarks that Shaurya is going overboard, even though they only need to act to keep up appearances. Shaurya then picks a dress for Shanaya and asks if she’ll try it on. Shanaya agrees, as it’s her favorite color. Shaurya also picks a dress for Palki, but she prefers the one Rajveer chose. Kavya offers to go with her to try it on.
Sunny pulls Shaurya aside and asks what he’s up to. Shaurya tells him he’s just trying to set things right. Rajveer confronts Shaurya, saying his actions aren’t right, but Shaurya brushes it off, saying he’s trying to fix things and hopes Rajveer’s plans work out too. Palki tries on the dress Rajveer picked and admits it looks good. She acknowledges that Rajveer has good taste. When she opens the door, she finds Shaurya and Sunny standing there. Shaurya can’t take his eyes off Palki and compliments her beauty. Palki thanks him but says it’s Rajveer’s choice, so it’s bound to be good. Shaurya jokingly says that no one asked for his opinion. Palki tells him that his behavior bothers her and that it would be best if he stays away from her and Rajveer.

Later, Palki looks for Kavya and finds her talking to Rajveer. Kavya says she was just chatting with Rajveer. Noticing Rajveer staring at her, Palki smiles and says she looks good in the dress. Rajveer teases that he didn’t react, so it wasn’t anything special. Palki playfully scolds him for not being more expressive.
Meanwhile, Shanaya comes out in her dress, and Rajveer compliments her. She appreciates it but says Shaurya’s praise means more to her. Shaurya, back in his room, complains to Sunny that he’s tried being nice to Shanaya, but she’s always angry at him. Sunny explains that she’s probably upset because of Rajveer. Shaurya, however, declares that he doesn’t care if Shanaya is engaged to Rajveer—he won’t let them get married.
