Scene 1: Arshi’s Fall and Arundati’s Reaction
The episode begins with Arshi falling off the staircase. She screams in pain as Arundati rushes to her side. “What happened?” Arundati asks, shocked by Arshi’s condition. She helps Arshi sit on the sofa. “I came downstairs to get coffee,” Arshi explains. She looks worried. “I hope my baby is fine.” Arundati reassures her. “Nothing will happen to the baby,” she says firmly. Arshi winces. “It’s painful, and I’m scared,” she admits. Arundati scolds her gently. “You should have been more careful,” she says. Arshi blames others. “You should blame Aniruddh and Jhanak,” she says bitterly. “If they were here, I wouldn’t have come downstairs.”
Arundati questions her. “Why didn’t you call me instead of coming down yourself?” she asks. Arshi sighs. “Aniruddh is enjoying himself with Jhanak at the marriage,” she replies. “You should have stopped them from going.” Arshi continues venting. “Even Srishti is taking Jhanak’s side these days,” she says. “Everyone has ruined my life.” Arundati suggests they go to the hospital. “Let me call Aniruddh,” she says. She dials his number but gets no response.
Scene 2: Jimli’s Conversation with Anindo
Meanwhile, Anindo notices Jimli looking sad. “Why do you look so upset?” he asks. Jimli hesitates before answering. “I miss my mother,” she says softly. Anindo tries to comfort her. “There’s no use thinking about it,” he says. “Your family will blame me for everything anyway.” Jimli frowns. “They won’t accept me,” she says. Anindo changes the topic. “I brought jewels for you,” he announces. Jimli looks surprised. “Why didn’t you take me to the jewelry shop?” she asks. Anindo smiles. “I wanted to surprise you,” he explains. Jimli observes him carefully. “You’ve been getting angry a lot lately,” she points out. Anindo brushes it off. “Don’t think about that,” he says. “Look at the jewels.” Jimli examines them skeptically. “You said you’re rich, but this house doesn’t look like it,” she says. Anindo defends himself. “I bought this house because my old one was being repaired,” he explains. Jimli raises an eyebrow. “Your father said it’s a rented house,” she says. Anindo looks uncomfortable. “I didn’t tell him about it,” he admits. Jimli suggests, “Let’s show the jewels to your mother.”
Anindo insists, “I bought them for you because I love you so much.” He adds, “My business is doing well.” Jimli offers help. “I’ll assist you in your business,” she says. Anindo shows her the sarees next. Jimli inspects them critically. “Did you buy these from the footpath?” she asks. Anindo reminds her, “You lived in Basti once.” Jimli retorts, “But I never wore bad-quality outfits.” Anindo gets defensive. “I have work to do,” he says and leaves. As he walks away, a bill falls from his pocket. Jimli picks it up and realizes the jewels are duplicates.
Scene 3: Aniruddh and Jhanak at the Marriage
At the marriage venue, Aniruddh and Jhanak dance with Choton and Mrinalini. Meanwhile, Arundati tries calling Aniruddh again, but there’s still no response. Arshi grows impatient. “He’s deliberately ignoring the call,” she says angrily. Arundati disagrees. “Don’t say that,” she says. Arundati then calls Choton. “Arshi fell off the staircase,” she informs him. “She’s in pain and needs help.” Choton hands the phone to Aniruddh. Aniruddh learns about Arshi’s condition. Jhanak asks him, “What happened?” Aniruddh looks worried. Jhanak adds, “You should have let me go home earlier.”
Scene 4: Arundati Scolds Aniruddh
Arundati scolds Aniruddh over the phone. “How could you leave Arshi alone and enjoy the marriage?” she asks angrily. Aniruddh apologizes. “I’ll come back immediately,” he says. Arshi listens silently, feeling hurt. Back at home, Aniruddh tells his family about Arshi’s fall. Bipasha scolds him harshly. “How could you enjoy the marriage while leaving Arshi alone?” she asks. Jhanak steps in. “We should focus on going to Arshi instead of fighting,” she says calmly.
