Scene 1: Choton’s Baraat and Mrinalini’s Preparation
Choton’s baraat arrived at the marriage venue, marking the start of the celebrations. Mrinalini’s mother warmly welcomed Choton as he stepped out of the procession. Apu turned to Jhanak and suggested they go inside to see Mrinalini. “Let’s go,” Apu said, and Jhanak nodded in agreement. They headed inside together. Anjana approached Mrinalini’s mother and asked if Mrinalini was ready for the ceremony. “She is getting ready,” Mrinalini’s mother replied calmly. Tanuja joined the conversation, saying, “After marriage, Mrinalini will have to manage both her work and the family.” Mrinalini’s mother responded confidently, “She will manage both.” Then, she added pointedly, “I’ve heard Bipasha doesn’t do anything.” Bipasha, overhearing this, asked sharply, “Do you even know about my family background?” Mrinalini’s mother dismissed her question. “I don’t need to know about that,” she replied firmly. She then turned to Tanuja and said, “Your life has changed because of Shubhankar. Don’t feel bad about it.” With that, she walked away, leaving Tanuja and Bipasha behind.
Tanjua reflected on her words. “Now I understand why Mrinalini talks so much,” she said thoughtfully. Bipasha clenched her fists. “We should teach her a lesson,” she muttered angrily. Meanwhile, Apu and Jhanak found Mrinalini inside. Mrinalini hugged Jhanak tightly. “If you had missed this marriage, I wouldn’t have talked to you,” Mrinalini teased. Jhanak smiled faintly. “I can’t make decisions freely like you,” she admitted. Mrinalini encouraged her. “You have every right to take your own decisions,” she said firmly.
Scene 2: Conversations About Family
Rumi mentioned Arshi while speaking to Mimi. “Arshi is alone in the house,” Rumi said with concern. Mimi corrected her. “Arundati is there with her,” she clarified. Meanwhile, Aniruddh approached Choton and asked, “Are you scared?” Choton chuckled nervously. “I already know Mrinalini, but seeing the marriage mandap makes me a little nervous,” he confessed. Aniruddh reassured him. “This is just the beginning,” he said with a grin. “The varmala is about to begin.” Mrinalini soon joined them, dressed in her bridal attire. Her father looked around and asked, “Where is Arundati?” Tanuja answered, “She is staying with Arshi to take care of her.” The ceremony proceeded smoothly as Choton and Mrinalini exchanged marriage garlands.
During the ceremony, Jhanak stumbled slightly, but Aniruddh quickly caught her. They shared a brief moment of connection. Unbeknownst to them, Arshi tried calling Aniruddh, but there was no response. Frustrated, she muttered, “No one cares about me.” She then called Jhanak, but her call went unanswered as well.
Scene 3: Bipasha’s Outburst
Bipasha noticed Jhanak and Aniruddh standing close together. She screamed Jhanak’s name loudly, startling them. Jhanak and Aniruddh snapped back to reality. Bipasha immediately called Arshi. “Aniruddh and Jhanak are not picking up their calls,” Arshi told Bipasha angrily. Bipasha recounted what she had seen. Arshi grew furious and disconnected the call without another word. Bipasha confronted Aniruddh. “Arshi called you,” she informed him. Aniruddh stepped aside and called Arshi. “Why are you mentally torturing me?” he asked, clearly frustrated. Arshi scolded him harshly. “I’ll teach Jhanak a lesson,” she threatened. Aniruddh pleaded with her. “Don’t ruin Jhanak’s mood today,” he said. Arshi reminded him sternly, “You’re going to become a father.” Aniruddh lost his patience. “I don’t have time for your nonsense,” he snapped and ended the call.
Scene 4: Jhanak’s Dilemma
Jhanak approached Aniruddh. “Arrange a car for me,” she requested. “I want to go to Arshi.” Aniruddh shook his head. “Stay here and enjoy the marriage,” he urged. “It’s just for one night, and Arundati is with Arshi.” Meanwhile, Anindo’s household was bustling with activity. Anindo’s father asked him, “Why does Jimli want a maid when she works like one in this house?” Anindo handed over some money to his father. “Keep it safe,” he instructed. His father insisted, “Put it in the bank.” Jimli reminded Anindo, “You said you’d buy jewels with that money.” Anindo assured her, “I will.” Anindo’s mother ordered Jimli to cook. “Make tea,” Anindo’s father added. Jimli noticed how dirty the kitchen was and wondered silently if Anindo had lied to her. Still, she convinced herself, “He won’t betray me.” She prepared tea and served it to the family.
Scene 5: Srishti’s Bold Words
Srishti approached Jhanak and complimented her appearance. “You don’t need to go take care of Arshi,” she said. “Stay here and enjoy the celebration.” Jhanak hesitated. “But Arshi is alone,” she argued. Aniruddh chimed in, “You don’t need to go.” Srishti smirked mischievously. “If you want, Aniruddh can marry you instead,” she teased. Jhanak and Aniruddh were shocked by her words. “How can you say that?” Jhanak asked, visibly upset. “I won’t break Arshi’s marriage life,” she declared firmly before walking away. Back at home, Arshi fell from the stairs. Arundati rushed to her side, alarmed by the sudden accident.
