Impressive data reveals that a total of 176,942 grievances were successfully resolved within this month alone.
Streamlined Grievance Redressal Process
The average time taken to dispose of grievances in January 2026 was just 14 days, showcasing the effectiveness of the reforms implemented under the 10-step CPGRAMS process. This initiative aims to enhance the responsiveness of government bodies and ensure that citizens see quicker resolutions to their issues.
Growing Participation and Feedback
In terms of engagement, the month saw 67,728 new users registering on the CPGRAMS portal, with 11,172 of these registrations coming from Uttar Pradesh alone. Common Service Centres and Accessibility
The report also highlights the integration of CPGRAMS with Common Service Centres (CSCs). With over 500,000 CSCs operational, 13,605 grievances were registered through these channels in January. The collaboration with approximately 250,000 Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) enhances accessibility for citizens seeking to lodge complaints.
Efficiency of Review Meetings
A Review Meeting Module was launched on February 14, 2025, aimed at improving the efficiency of grievance redressal by enabling Secretary-level reviews. As of January 31, 2026, there have been 264 review meetings, including 17 held in January 2026. This initiative is expected to bolster citizen satisfaction through timely and effective resolutions.
