Infinix Note 50X 5G Launching with XOS 15 in India
Infinix is gearing up to launch its latest smartphone, the Note 50X 5G, in India on March 27. The company has already teased the design of the rear camera module and confirmed that the device will come pre-installed with XOS 15, which is based on Android 15. This marks a significant upgrade from the previous model, the Infinix Note 40X 5G, which was released in August 2024 with Android 14-based XOS 14.
XOS 15 Key Features
The upcoming XOS 15 promises to enhance user experience with a range of new features. According to Infinix, the Android 15-based interface will include improved personalization options, fluid animations, and smarter AI functionalities. Notably, the Infinix Note 50X 5G will be the first device to ship with XOS 15 right out of the box. Among the standout features of XOS 15 are a new boot-up animation and customizable icons that users can modify in terms of shape, size, and color. Additionally, users will have access to 25 different font styles to further personalize their devices. The operating system will also introduce One-Take Wallpaper and Vogue Portraits, allowing users to transform gallery images into cohesive wallpapers for their home and lock screens. Security is another focus, with the inclusion of a Mobile Anti-Theft feature designed to protect users’ devices. For those who prioritize productivity and entertainment, XOS 15 will offer a dedicated Game Mode, a Smart Panel, and a PC Connection feature, along with a more functional Dynamic Bar that supports Google Maps.

The Game Mode, integrated with XArena, aims to boost gaming performance by providing personalized settings tailored to individual preferences. Meanwhile, the Dynamic Bar offers a non-intrusive way for users to view important notifications without disrupting their activities. The PC Connection feature will facilitate cross-device connectivity, enabling screen mirroring and simplified file sharing.
Infinix has also introduced One-Tap Infinix AI in the XOS 15 update, which is designed to enhance productivity and convenience. This includes a variety of AI features such as AI Note for the Notepad, an AI Wallpaper Generator, and a Writing Assistant. The AIGC Portrait Mode will allow users to create fun avatars in real-time across multiple scenarios and templates.

Additionally, XOS 15 will incorporate Google’s Circle to Search feature, enhancing the search capabilities on Infinix devices. The update will also introduce Folax, an AI-powered virtual assistant that can assist users through voice, text, and image-based interactions. Another notable feature is the Call Assistant, which will enable auto-answering for calls and provide summaries of conversations.
