IndiGo Expands Routes with New Beach Destinations

IndiGo, India’s leading low-cost airline, has recently launched two new flight routes aimed at connecting popular beach destinations with major cities. The first route, which commenced this past weekend, links Mumbai to the picturesque Seychelles. The second route, set to begin on April 1, will connect Bhubaneswar with Goa, catering to the increasing demand for air travel and tourism in India.

New Flights from Mumbai to Seychelles

IndiGo’s new flights to Seychelles will operate four times a week, specifically on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. This addition marks the airline’s 39th international destination, enhancing travel options for passengers looking to explore the stunning archipelago in the Indian Ocean. Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, expressed excitement about this new route, emphasizing its potential to offer travelers greater flexibility and convenience. The Seychelles is renowned for its breathtaking beaches, lush rainforests, and vibrant Creole culture, making it an attractive destination for both relaxation and adventure. With over 1,300 weekly departures from Mumbai to more than 75 destinations, IndiGo continues to expand its international footprint. The airline’s commitment to providing affordable and hassle-free travel experiences remains a priority as it strengthens ties between India and Seychelles.

Bhubaneswar to Goa: A New Connection

On April 1, IndiGo will launch direct flights connecting Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha, with Goa, a popular tourist hotspot. This route will operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, reflecting the growing demand for air travel in India. The airline aims to promote tourism and economic growth through this new connection.

Malhotra highlighted the significance of the Bhubaneswar-Goa route, stating that it offers travelers a seamless link between two vibrant cities. Bhubaneswar, known as the “Temple City,” is famous for its ancient temples and rich cultural heritage.
