India’s MY Bharat Achieves Guinness World Record for Online Quiz
The Indian government’s youth engagement initiative, Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), has made headlines after being awarded the Guinness World Records title for the “Most Users to Take an Online Quiz in One Week.” A staggering 390,812 participants completed the quiz during the official assessment period, marking a significant achievement for the Department of Youth Affairs under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
Ceremony Marks Special Occasion
The Guinness World Records recognition was officially presented to MY Bharat by adjudicator Sh. Rishinath at a ceremony held today at Shram Shakti Bhawan, New Delhi. The event was attended by key dignitaries, including Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, and Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, Smt. Raksha Nikhil Khadse, along with senior officials from the ministry and enthusiastic youth participants.
A Platform for Youth Engagement
This milestone recognizes the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders’ Dialogue (VBYLD) Quiz, a nationwide initiative designed to enhance awareness and engagement among young citizens towards the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047. Conducted through the MY Bharat portal, it attracted participation from over 50.42 lakh youth across all 28 states and 8 Union Territories, making it one of the largest digital engagement exercises in India.
During the event, Minister Mandaviya expressed his pride in this achievement, highlighting that the portal addresses the aspirations of India’s youth, who make up nearly 65% of the population under the age of 35. He noted that in just three years, MY Bharat has seen an impressive 2.19 crore registrations, with new youth joining daily.

The minister extended his congratulations to India’s youth for their role in attaining this Guinness World Record, stating that the recognition belongs to them and reflects their commitment to the vision of Viksit Bharat. He added that the MY Bharat portal serves not just as a digital space, but as an empowering platform for young individuals to engage actively, share ideas, and contribute to national development.
Verification Process and Future Engagement
During the assessment period from October 25 to October 31, 2025, over 8.39 lakh quiz participations were recorded, culminating in the certification of 390,812 eligible participants after a thorough verification process. This achievement emphasizes the Government of India’s dedication to utilizing digital technologies to foster youth involvement and participation in national initiatives.
The Guinness World Records accolade is a significant milestone in India’s journey towards youth empowerment, showcasing how platforms like MY Bharat can drive citizen engagement and further the shared vision of Viksit Bharat@2047.
