Indian Railways appeals for identification of the deceased of Rail accident in Odisha

In order to ease the families of those who are still unaware of the whereabouts of their relatives in the unfortunate train crash at Bahanaga, Odisha, Indian Railways with the support of the Government of Odisha has taken an initiative to locate them. The family members/relatives/friends and benefactors of the passengers involved in this unfortunate incident can locate using the link of photos of deceased, lists of passengers admitted to different hospitals and also of unidentified bodies using the following details:

The Railway Helpline number 139 is working around the clock to connect families/relatives of passengers involved in this train accident. Helpline 139 is manned by senior railroad officials. In addition, BMC helpline number 18003450061/1929 is also working 24/7. The Municipal Commissioner’s Office, Bhubaneswar has set up a control room, from where, with vehicles, people will be routed to the hospital or morgue, as appropriate. Officials have been deployed to facilitate.
