Indian Navy to Launch Multi-Speciality Medical Camp in Lakshadweep
The Indian Navy is set to organize a Joint Services Multi-Speciality Medical Camp in the picturesque Union Territory of Lakshadweep from **12 to 16 January 2026**. In previous years, these camps have provided various primary healthcare specialties and dental surgeries across many islands within Lakshadweep. With advancements in healthcare delivery and strong support from the UTL Administration, coupled with a positive response from the local community, the camp has evolved into a multi-speciality service offering.
The established government healthcare infrastructure in Lakshadweep consists of district hospitals, community health centers, and primary health facilities. The multi-speciality camp aims to complement these facilities by providing access to both specialist and super-specialist medical expertise in a coordinated and patient-centered manner. Key focus areas will include early diagnosis, timely intervention, and proper clinical management of common and chronic conditions.
