Indian Navy Expands Ties with Thailand During Historic Visit
In a significant step towards enhancing maritime cooperation in Southeast Asia, the Indian Navy’s First Training Squadron (1TS), comprising INS Tir, INS Shardul, INS Sujata, and ICGS Sarathi, docked at Phuket Deep Sea Port in Thailand on January 25, 2026. The arrival of the Indian naval ships was met with a hearty reception by the Royal Thai Navy (RTN), celebrated with festive music from the RTN Band.
