These challenges aim to promote inclusive and responsible AI solutions and have garnered an impressive 4,650 applications from 60 countries. Finalists Prepare for Grand Finale
Following a meticulous selection process, the top 70 teams from the three challenge categories will present their solutions during the Grand Finale and Awards Felicitation Ceremony on February 16 and 17 at Bharat Mandapam and Sushma Swaraj Bhawan in New Delhi. This event will allow finalists to showcase their innovations to investors, policymakers, and industry leaders, granting them vital recognition and support for scaling their projects.
Research Symposium Adds Academic Dimension
On February 18, a Research Symposium on AI and Its Impact, hosted in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, will serve as the primary academic platform for the summit. This symposium has attracted around 250 research submissions from regions including Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Notable attendees include H.E. Mr. Alar Karis, President of Estonia, and key Indian ministers from the electronics and information technology sectors. The symposium will focus on critical discussions surrounding AI-driven scientific advancements, safety, governance, and equitable access to technological resources.
Framework for Responsible AI Deployment
The India AI Impact Summit 2026 aims to strengthen India’s role in shaping global AI policies, anchored in the core principles of People, Planet, and Progress. It operates under seven thematic working groups dedicated to various aspects of AI, including economic growth, social empowerment, and trust in technology.
