Honor Watch 5 Ultra Debuts at MWC 2025

The Honor Watch 5 Ultra was unveiled on March 2 during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona. This latest smartwatch from the Chinese OEM joins the existing Honor Watch 5 and Watch 4 Pro models. Notably, the Honor Watch 5 Ultra introduces several first-time features, including an Electrocardiogram (ECG) reading capability. Honor claims that the smartwatch can last up to 15 days on a single charge under typical usage conditions.

While the price of the Honor Watch 5 Ultra has yet to be disclosed, the global website indicates that it will be available soon. The smartwatch will come in two color options: black and brown, each paired with a fluoroelastomer and leather strap, respectively. Consumers in Europe can expect to purchase the device shortly after its official launch.

Honor Watch 5 Ultra Specifications

 

The Honor Watch 5 Ultra features a 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and a variable refresh rate of up to 60Hz. Encased in a durable Grade 5 titanium alloy, the smartwatch also includes an always-on display for easy access to essential information. The screen is protected by sapphire glass, enhancing its durability.

Users can take advantage of the Quick Health Scan feature for a comprehensive health overview. The ECG tracking feature allows for immediate readings, while the Healthy Morning Report summarizes the previous day’s health metrics. The smartwatch supports over 100 sports modes, along with sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring, and blood-oxygen level checks.

Designed for resilience, the Honor Watch 5 Ultra includes a Free Diving Mode, enabling users to dive up to 40 meters underwater. It boasts an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The device is powered by a 480mAh battery, which Honor claims can last up to 15 days on a single charge with regular use. The smartwatch measures 46.3 x 46.3 x 11.4 mm and weighs 51.8 grams, featuring connectivity options such as Bluetooth 5.2 and GPS.

Honor Pad V9 Availability Expanded

 

In addition to the smartwatch, Honor announced the global expansion of the Honor Pad V9. Priced at EUR 449.90 (approximately Rs. 41,000), this tablet shares similar specifications with its Chinese counterpart, which has been available since last year. The Honor Pad V9 aims to capture a wider audience with its enhanced availability in international markets.
