Grand welcome as PM Modi arrives in Bengaluru after productive trip to South Africa & Greece

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi landed in Bangalore today following his four day visit to South Africa and Greece. The Prime Minister attended the BRICS summit in South Africa and later visited Greece. The Prime Minister has had several bilateral meetings and meetings with local thought leaders. He also met the vibrant Indian communities in both countries. The Chief Minister who had witnessed the landing of the Chandrayaan-3 Moon Lander via VC landed in Bangalore to later interact with the ISRO team.

PM Modi, who received a warm welcome outside HAL Airport, began his speech to the assembled citizens with Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan and added Jai Vigyan, Jai Anusandhan. Shri Modi said she witnessed the same enthusiasm in South Africa and Greece over India’s major success.

Expressing his excitement to be with the ISRO team, The Prime said that he had decided to come to Bangalore sooner upon his return. The Prime Minister thanked the Governor, the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister for their cooperation on his request not to take protocol issues.

The PM thanked everyone for the welcome and noticed the enthusiasm among the assembled citizens and traveled to ISRO to be part of the Chandrayaan team in a roadshow.
