Vision for a Developed India by 2047

The Vice President inaugurated several projects at Mormugao Port, including a 3 MW solar power plant and two harbour mobile cranes, which he described as vital for bolstering the nation’s maritime infrastructure.

In his speech, Dhankhar paid tribute to the Indian Coast Guard for their dedication and service, particularly in challenging situations such as cyclones. He acknowledged their crucial role in ensuring maritime safety and protecting coastal communities. The Vice President highlighted the Coast Guard’s efforts in maintaining zero mortality on high seas during severe weather events in West Bengal, attributing this success to their unwavering commitment.
