Welcome to GHKKPM Written Update 10th April 2025. In this written update, we follow the ongoing story of our favourite characters as they face new challenges, share emotional moments, and continue their journey. In Today’s Episode Now, Leena rejects Teju as Neil’s wife and refuses to welcome her. Teju and Neil complete their Griha Pravesh, but the family atmosphere remains strained. Rituraj silently vows to win Teju, while others worry about how to bring Leena around….. Scene 1: The Unwelcome Twist
Leena stands in the living room, glaring at Neil with questions in her eyes. She reminds him how she said she would leave this house if he brought Teju as his bride. Yet, here he is, arriving with a new wife. Neil, looking a bit uneasy, tells her to calm down, or else her blood pressure might climb. Leena frowns, wondering why he suddenly cares about her health after causing all this drama. Bhushan steps in and says it is unfair to blame only Neil. He insists that everyone in the family agreed to this marriage in the end. Leena, still upset, replies that this situation exists because Neil gave his approval. She claims that Neil never liked Juhi from the beginning. In her words, he always preferred Teju. When Leena mentions Juhi leaving the wedding venue, she quickly looks at Teju and demands an explanation, asking what Teju did to make Juhi walk away.
Teju answers softly, insisting she did not want this marriage either. She says she was forced into it without her real consent. Rituraj, standing nearby, interrupts. He says that from what he knows about Teju, nobody can compel her to do something she truly hates. He gives a pointed look, suggesting that Teju might be hiding her true feelings. Amruta tries to ease the tension by telling everyone to focus on welcoming the new daughter-in-law. She gently reminds them that they should greet Teju, whatever the circumstances. Leena snaps and promises to give Teju a welcome she will never forget. She goes to the entrance where a small plate of sacred items is set up. In one swift move, Leena hits the plate, causing items to scatter. Then she kicks the Kalash aside and says she will not accept Teju as this family’s daughter-in-law. Teju, feeling cornered, turns to Neil and asks why he let people blame her for things she never did. She reminds him that she asked him to stop this marriage. Neil feels sorry and mumbles an apology. He then calls Amruta to handle the formal welcome. Amruta nods and begins to prepare, looking around to see if anyone else wants to object. But most remain silent, not wanting to add to Leena’s anger. Leena walks out, leaving a tense silence behind. Teju stands by Neil, uncertain how to handle the hostility. The only clear thing is that her entrance into this family will not be simple.
Scene 2: A Difficult Griha Pravesh
Amruta brings a fresh aarti plate to the doorway and motions for Teju and Neil to stand close. Despite Leena’s outburst, the family knows this ritual must continue. Teju looks at the items on the plate: small lamps, flowers, and a bit of red powder. She feels a knot in her stomach, aware that Leena’s anger still hangs in the air. Neil stands beside Teju, whispering, “I am sorry. I really did not want all this trouble for you.” Teju sighs but stays quiet. She does not know if words can fix the blame Leena has already placed on her. Amruta leads the ceremony with a calm tone. She holds up the aarti plate, circling it slowly in front of Teju and Neil. Then, she gestures for Teju to gently kick a small pot filled with rice—a sign of entering her new home. They step inside, and everyone can see how Leena’s furious exit left a mark on the celebration. Rituraj stands off to the side, looking at Teju with a different kind of intensity. He notices her footprints on the floor, formed by the red-colored powder she stepped in. In a swift motion, he picks up a plate and tries to erase those footprints. But before he can finish, Jeetu sees him and remarks that Teju was always meant to be the daughter-in-law here, so nothing can remove those signs.
Rituraj stops his attempt but mutters to himself that Teju should have been with him. He keeps repeating in his mind that no one can love her better than he does. He casts a quick glance at Neil, who is busy offering prayers with Teju, and quietly vows to make Teju realize his worth. Alok, another family member, notices Rituraj’s actions and tells him to stop stirring up more bitterness. Amruta also looks over with concern, but she keeps her focus on making Teju complete each step of the Griha Pravesh. When the final lamp is lit, Neil and Teju fold their hands, thanking God for a peaceful beginning, despite the chaos. Rituraj, however, cannot let the matter go. He reminds everyone that Leena needs to accept Teju first. Without her approval, all these rituals do not carry much meaning. He says this loudly, hoping to halt any joy in the room. The Pradhan family scolds him, but he just shrugs, unwilling to hold back his comments.
Scene 3: Uncertain Acceptance
Prachi, noticing the tension, walks over to Rituraj and pleads with him to talk to Leena. “You know how stubborn she can be,” she says. “Maybe if you speak to her, she will calm down.” Rituraj shakes his head and says, “I have no intention of changing her mind. Teju made her choice, and now she can deal with the consequences.” He does not hide his frustration. Meanwhile, Teju stands near Neil with a heavy heart. “Why do they keep blaming me?” she asks softly. Neil has no clear answer. He looks around, seeing the scattered flower petals and the pot that Leena kicked away. He takes a deep breath and tries to reassure Teju that things will get better. “I know my mother, and I know she can be stubborn,” he says gently. “But one day, she will see that you did nothing wrong.”
Leena remains out of sight, fuming in another part of the house. Bhushan tries to track her down, hoping she might change her stance once she calms down. Neil, Teju, and Amruta wait in the living area, unsure if they should attempt to speak with her or give her space. Rituraj lingers nearby, watching Teju carefully. In his thoughts, he repeats that marrying Neil was Teju’s big mistake. He believes no one else can give Teju the love and respect she deserves. He clenches his fists and promises himself that he will show her the truth, no matter how long it takes. Prachi notices his frustrated expression and again asks him to put the family’s well-being first by ending this negativity. Rituraj stays silent. The rest of the Pradhan family also urges him to stop stirring trouble, but Rituraj is firm. He says there is no use in performing more rituals if Leena will not accept Teju. Neil and Teju look around, feeling the weight of the situation. They did their wedding rituals, but a cloud still hangs over their new life. The day ends with everyone confused about what will happen next.
