Welcome to GHKKPM Written Update 9th April 2025. In this written update, we follow the ongoing story of our favourite characters as they face new challenges, share emotional moments, and continue their journey. In Today’s Episode, Teju blames Neil for pushing Juhi away and trapping her in a marriage she never wanted. Neil confesses his love for Teju, but she warns him not to expect forgiveness. When they return to the Pradhan house, Leena is stunned to see Teju instead of Juhi. The family stands divided, setting the stage for a difficult beginning to Neil and Teju’s married life….. Scene 1: Conflicted Beginnings
Neil and Teju stand outside a small building, ready to head home. Neil speaks in a gentle voice, “Everyone must be waiting for us. I can see how hard you work for your goals. I promise to help you reach them.” He looks at Teju with a soft smile, hoping to make peace. But Teju steps back, shaking her head. “I don’t need your help,” she says firmly. “You spoiled my life by marrying me. Why did you agree to this wedding when you knew I didn’t love you?” Neil tries to explain, but Teju’s questions come quickly. She asks, “Why did Juhi vanish from our wedding day? You must have done something to make her run.” A flicker of sadness crosses Neil’s face. He remembers a private moment with Juhi at the hospital. He had told her he cared deeply for Teju, not her. That confession changed everything.
Teju notices Neil’s silence. “You’re hiding something,” she accuses. “Juhi was excited about the wedding until you went to see her at the hospital. What did you do?” Neil finally admits, “I told Juhi I couldn’t love her. My heart belongs to someone else.” He glances at Teju, hoping she understands. Teju gasps. She stares at Neil, upset. “So it was you who drove her away,” she says. “She must have felt betrayed.” Neil lifts his hand, trying to calm her. “I wanted to be honest. Juhi deserved the truth,” he insists. “It’s not fair to marry someone when you don’t love them.” Teju, however, seems unconvinced. “You ruined everything,” she says. “None of this would have happened if you’d let me be. I warned you that we’re not meant for each other.” Neil’s expression turns worried. “I respect you and your dreams,” he says softly. “I promise to put you first and keep you happy.” Teju huffs in response, turning her head away. “Don’t speak about happiness. You can never fix the damage done.” Neil stands there, unsure how to make things right. With no words left to say, the two begin their journey back to Neil’s family home, each lost in their own thoughts about the chaotic wedding day that just passed.
Scene 2: Eager Preparations
Inside the Pradhan household, Leena places bright decorations around the living area. She steps back, checking that everything looks nice. “Nandi, please bring that special gift we bought for Juhi,” she calls out. Nandi nods and disappears into another room. Leena sets a tray of sweets on a table, humming happily. “We must welcome the new bride in a grand way,” she says, glancing around to see if anyone needs help. Nearby, Bhushan watches quietly. He shares a concerned look with a few other family members, who urge him, “Please tell Leena the truth before she finds out on her own.” Bhushan takes a deep breath, but before he can speak, Leena walks over, smiling. “What are you all whispering about?” she asks curiously. Bhushan tries to find the right words. “Leena, do you remember how Poornima welcomed you into this family years ago?” he says softly. Leena’s face lights up. “I remember well. Poornima was the kindest woman. I miss her every day.” Bhushan nods. “She taught us how to welcome a new daughter-in-law with love and care. We hope you’ll do the same now,” he suggests, his voice gentle but nervous.
Leena claps her hands. “Of course, I will. Juhi will receive even more love than Prachi does,” she declares, placing her hand on her heart. Family members exchange worried glances, knowing Leena still believes Juhi is the bride. Nobody corrects her immediately. As the minutes pass, Leena continues adjusting decorations, carefully positioning flowers around the entrance. “Everything must be perfect for Neil and Juhi’s arrival,” she says with pride. She praises Nandi for picking the right color ribbons and makes sure the sweets are arranged neatly. She even hums a little tune, excited for the big moment. Bhushan stands nearby, feeling more uneasy by the second. He knows that Juhi ran away from the wedding, and Teju is now Neil’s wife. But Leena’s joy shines so brightly that he dreads breaking the news. The family gathers in the living room, waiting for Neil’s car to pull up. Each person wonders how Leena will react once she discovers who is truly standing beside Neil.
Scene 3: Harsh Truths
Outside, Neil and Teju stop for a moment, still caught in their argument. Teju presses him again, “Juhi was so happy about marrying you. Everything seemed fine until you met her at the hospital. You must have said something terrible.” Neil looks down at his feet. He decides to speak plainly. “I told Juhi I couldn’t pretend. I love someone else, and it wouldn’t be fair for me to marry her.” Teju’s eyes flash with anger. “All this time, you knew you weren’t in love with Juhi, yet you let this marriage plan go on?” Neil sighs. “I tried to do the right thing by being honest. A marriage built on lies will never last.” Teju crosses her arms. “Well, now you’ve dragged me into this mess,” she snaps. “I told you from the start that we are not right for each other. You’re a decent person, but every girl dreams about certain qualities in her husband. You don’t fit the picture I had in mind. Yet here we are, married.”
Neil tries to take her hand again. “Teju, please listen. I never meant to hurt anyone. I only wanted Juhi to know the truth so she wouldn’t spend her life in an unhappy marriage.” Teju shakes him off, her voice tight with frustration. “And what about my happiness? Did you think about that?” He bows his head. “I do care about you,” he says, pausing. “I love you more than anything. My feelings are enough for both of us.” Hearing this, Teju’s anger flares. “Don’t talk about love,” she warns. “You don’t understand my father Mohit’s wishes. You tore apart my plans for my life. You will never get my forgiveness.” Neil stands in silence, trying to gather his words. “I promise to respect you,” he whispers. “I’ll help with all your goals. I’ll be the person you can depend on.” But Teju only gives him a bitter look. “It’s too late now,” she replies. With that, they turn toward the house, unsure how to face Neil’s family, especially with Juhi gone and this new, uneasy marriage between them.
Scene 4: Surprise Arrival
Back at the Pradhan home, Leena notices Rituraj entering the living room. She greets him cheerfully. “You’re late, Rituraj! I heard you were also late at the wedding. Come, you can help us welcome our new bride.” Rituraj shakes his head. “I have work to do, something about a new song I’m recording. I don’t have time to stay.” He turns to leave, but Bhushan steps in front of him. “Where were you during the wedding?” Bhushan asks, his tone firm. Yash chimes in, teasing, “Maybe a woman rejected him.” Rituraj gives Yash and Prachi a stern glance. “You two are stepping out of line,” he says, brushing past them. Leena tries to calm everyone. “Stop fussing. We should be happy! Neil will be here soon with Juhi.” Rituraj sighs, muttering that Yash and Prachi are getting on his nerves. Leena dismisses his anger with a wave of her hand. “They mean no harm. They’re just teasing,” she says. “We’re one big family here.”
Suddenly, Nandini looks out the window and exclaims, “Neil’s car is here!” Everyone rushes to the door. Leena stands with a plate of sweets and a warm smile, ready to greet Neil and Juhi. The front door opens, revealing Neil. But instead of Juhi by his side, Teju appears, looking tense. Leena’s smile fades. She lowers the plate, her eyes darting from Neil to Teju. “Why is Teju here? Where is Juhi?” she demands, her voice shaky. Vinod and Bhushan step forward, trying to break the news gently. “Juhi ran away,” Vinod explains. “We had to proceed with the marriage. So Neil is now married to Teju.” Leena’s face grows pale with shock. She turns to Manjari for confirmation. Manjari nods. “Neil has chosen this path, and he’s content,” she says gently. Leena can’t hold back her frustration. “What about my happiness? I warned Neil I never wanted Teju in this house as his wife. He ignored me!” Neil stands quietly, while Teju looks at the floor. The room falls silent, filled with tension. Leena places the plate on a nearby table, stepping back. “I can’t celebrate this,” she says, her voice trembling. The episode ends with Leena still reeling from the unexpected arrival, and Neil and Teju left to face an uncertain future under the same roof.
