Galaxy S26 Leaks Reveal Curvier Ultra Design with iPhone 17 Influences

We’re still digesting the features of the newly launched Samsung Galaxy S25 FE, but the tech giant is already gearing up for its next release. Fresh leaks regarding the Galaxy S26 series have surfaced, hinting at design changes and specifications. The upcoming models, expected to debut in January, may include a new Edge variant resembling the iPhone 17 Pro and a more rounded Ultra model. As anticipation builds, these leaks provide a glimpse into what Samsung fans can expect from the next generation of smartphones.

Design Changes and Specifications

Recent leaks from renowned tipster @UniverseIce reveal unofficial renders of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra alongside its predecessor, the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The dimensions of the S26 Ultra are reportedly slightly larger, measuring 163.4 x 77.9mm compared to the S25 Ultra’s 162.8 x 77.6mm. While these differences may seem minor, they suggest a subtle evolution in design. Notably, the corners of the S26 Ultra are expected to feature increased curvature, moving away from the boxier aesthetics of previous Ultra models. This shift in design raises questions about whether the S Pen slot will remain a feature in the new model.

Model Variants and Features

Leaked images have also surfaced, showcasing dummy models of the anticipated Galaxy S26 series, which is expected to include Pro, Edge, and Ultra variants. Notably absent from this lineup are a standard Galaxy S26 and a Plus model. The Galaxy S26 Edge appears to adopt a design reminiscent of the iPhone 17 Pro, complete with a prominent rectangular camera bump. This design choice aligns with current trends in smartphone aesthetics, although it remains to be seen how closely it mirrors Apple’s upcoming offerings. Additionally, all three models are rumored to incorporate full magnet-powered Qi2 wireless charging, similar to the technology seen in the Pixel 10 series.

Anticipated Launch and Future Developments

While these leaks provide intriguing insights into the Galaxy S26 series, it is important to approach them with caution, as they are not official confirmations. Samsung is expected to adhere to its traditional release schedule, with the Galaxy S26 series likely making its debut in January. However, there are speculations about the potential launch of a long-awaited tri-fold device this month, which could further excite tech enthusiasts. As the release date approaches, more information is expected to emerge, giving consumers a clearer picture of what to anticipate from Samsung’s latest innovations.
