Extension of last date to receive comments/counter comments on TRAI’s supplementary consultation paper on ‘Data communication services between aircraft and ground stations for services provided by organisations other than Airports Authority of India’

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has released a supplementary consultation document on “Data communication services between aircraft and ground stations for services provided by organizations other than the Airports Authority of India” on 03.08.2023. The deadline for receiving written comments from interested parties on the issues raised in the consultation paper has been set for 17.08.2023 and for counter-comments by 24.08.2023.

Taking into account the request of a trade association to extend the deadline for the submission of observations, it was decided to extend the deadline for the submission of written observations and counter-observations on the aforementioned supplementary consultation document until 24.08.2023 and until 31.08.2023 respectively.
