The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, in partnership with the Development and Welfare Board for De-notified, Nomadic, and Semi-Nomadic Communities (DWBDNC), is making significant strides with its Scheme for Economic Empowerment of DNTs (SEED). In the financial year 2025-26, the SEED Scheme reached out to over 1.10 lakh beneficiaries through various components, such as education, healthcare, and livelihood support. A substantial financial investment of Rs. 53.06 Crores has been allocated to ensure the effective implementation of these initiatives. Encouragingly, success stories from beneficiaries nationwide highlight the positive impact of the scheme.
