Effortlessly Create and Edit Multiple Images in ChatGPT with Short Prompts

OpenAI has introduced significant updates to its image generation capabilities within ChatGPT, emphasizing user-friendliness alongside technical improvements. The latest version, GPT Image 1.5, features a dedicated Images section designed to enhance the way users create, edit, and experiment with visuals. This new layout aims to simplify the process, particularly for those who prefer not to write lengthy prompts.
Enhancements in GPT Image 1.5
The GPT Image 1.5 update addresses several common user concerns. When users upload an image for editing, the system now executes changes with greater precision. It maintains consistency in lighting, layout, and facial features unless instructed otherwise. Additionally, text within images is rendered more clearly, even when it consists of small or densely packed words. This improvement is particularly beneficial for users who frequently test multiple concepts in quick succession, as image generation times have also been reduced.
A New Visual Interface
ChatGPT now features an Images tab prominently displayed in the sidebar for both mobile and web users. Upon launching the app, users are greeted with a visually engaging layout rather than a blank chat screen. At the top, a prompt box invites users to describe the image they wish to create. Below this, a selection of preset styles is available, complete with preview samples. These presets include themes such as Bollywood posters, festival designs, and regional textiles, making it easier for users to start without the need for extensive prompt formulation. Additionally, the platform offers quick suggestions for creating cartoons, designing cards, or generating album covers, further streamlining the creative process.
Using ChatGPT Images on Mobile
To utilize the new image features on mobile, users can follow a straightforward process. First, they need to open the ChatGPT app and tap the menu icon located in the top-left corner. Next, they select the Images option beneath “New chat.” Users can then upload an image or type a description, choose from the available presets, or create their own prompt before generating the image. This user-friendly approach allows for multiple image requests to be processed simultaneously, enhancing the overall experience.
For web users, accessing the image generation features is equally simple. They should open ChatGPT in their browser and click on the sidebar icon. From there, they select Images under “Search chats.” Users can upload an image or enter a description, pick a style, or write a custom prompt to generate their desired visuals. This setup not only facilitates faster idea testing but also makes image generation more accessible for everyday use, allowing users to explore their creativity without unnecessary complications.
