DoT announces ‘5G & Beyond Hackathon 2023’
Department of Telecommunications conducted Hackathon for 5G Product and Solution Development. This has culminated in the development of 5G products/solutions in different technology verticals.
The DoT invites applications from 28 June 2023 for ‘5G & Beyond Hackathon 2023’, aimed at selecting India-focused cutting-edge ideas that can be converted into viable 5G and beyond products and solutions. One hundred winners of the hackathon will share a total prize pool of Rs one crore and the unique opportunity to scale and roll out their 5G products/solutions to market readiness with the support of mentors from Government, Industry, Academia, telecommunications/OEM, etc.
Participants can develop 5G and beyond solutions from multiple categories, including healthcare, education and governance, agrotechnology and livestock, environment, public safety and disaster management enterprise, smart cities and infrastructure, cybersecurity, banking, finance and insurance, Logistics and Transportation, Multimedia and Satellite Broadcasting, among others.
The 5G & Beyond Hackathon is open to individuals, students, start-ups and academic institutions in India. The Department of Telecommunications invites applications received on July 31, 2023. For more details https://dcis.dot.gov.in/hackathon.
