DFS disposed off more than 2 lakh public grievances between Nov. 2022 to August 2023 as part of Special Campaign for Swachhata 2.0

The Department of Financial Services (DFS) and its organizations carried out the Special Campaign Swachhata 2.0 from October 2 to October 31, 2022, to minimize the slope and institutionalize Swachhata. Reach more than 80% of the goal by the 31stst In October 2022, the DFS continued to work in the following months, from November 2022 to August 2023, actively monitoring the campaign’s progress on a monthly basis.

The highlights and achievements of the Department and its organizations in the subsequent months from November 2022 to August 2023 are as follows:

  • Disposal of public complaints: 2,09,398
  • Disposal of public appeals: 39,816
  • Cleaned offices/offices: 523
  • Space cleared: 71,968 square feet
  • Revenue earned from scrap disposal: Rs. 1,43,87,364/-

Government of India has announced Special Campaign 3.0 from 2 October 2023 to 31 October 2023 with special focus on Swachhata and reduce dependency in government offices with a saturation approach.

Taking the campaign forward, Dr Jitendra Singh today launched the dedicated web portal for Swachhata Special campaign 3.0, https://scdpm.nic.inin New Delhi for monitoring the Swachhata countryside. It will be preceded by the preparatory phase from 15 September to 30 September 2023. During this period, the Ministries/Departments will identify the slopes in the selected categories and finalize the campaign sites.

DFS has already sensitized all its officials and communicated to all its organizations to continue activities and launch Special Campaign 3.0 in their respective organizations.
