The Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, has undertaken Special Campaigns 2.0 for disposal of pending matters and Swachhta in government offices during the period November 2022 to August 2023, on the lines of the Special Campaign held in the year 2021.
All efforts have been made to clear the pendency of all types of issues. To achieve the Campaign objectives, during the period from November 2022 to August 2023, this Department of Youth Affairs eliminated more than 1000 physical files and largely migrated to e-office. Over 97% of MP appeals and 95% of public complaints/PG appeals have been resolved. As part of the cleanup efforts, numerous sites were cleaned and approximately 1,000 square feet of space was freed for production use.
The Department of Youth Affairs looks forward to actively participating in SCDPM 3.0.
