A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Directorate General of Resettlement (DGR) of Ex-Servicemen Welfare Department, Ministry of Defense and M/s Genpact India Private Limited on 31 August 2023 in New Delhi. The MoU between DGR and Corporates aims to bring corporate companies and ex-servicemen on a common platform to generate employment opportunities for esteemed ex-servicemen of the Defense Services.
Genpact, a global leader in professional services, would provide meaningful career opportunities for veterans. Maj. Gen. Sharad Kapur, Director General (Resettlement), said, “This partnership would provide greater visibility to our ex-servicemen to industry and corporates and help achieve the objectives of providing skilled manpower and giving a dignified second career to our ex-soldiers. military”.
