By institutionalizing Swachhta in its offices across the country, the Department of Defense Production (DDP) continued to promote cleanliness even after the conclusion of Special Campaign 2.0 in October 2022. Activities carried out in the Campaign continued in the secretariat and annex / subordinate offices of the DDP from November 2022 to August 2023. During the period, the Department organized clean-up drives at 624 sites across the country and processed 1,734 pending public complaints and 451 public utility appeals. 4581 physical files were examined and 3996 physical files were closed as they had completed their retention period. A sum of Rs. So far, 46,43,637 revenue has been earned from the sale of scrap and 5517 sq ft of space has been released.
During Special Campaign 2.0, the department organized clean-up drives at 585 sites across the country and also disposed of 317 pending public complaints and 51 appeals of public complaints. Furthermore, 1983 physical files were examined and 576 physical files were closed as they had reached the end of their retention period. A sum of Rs.13,06,61,431 had been realized in revenue from sale of scrap and 1,98,048 sq. ft. had been vacated.
