The report also reveals a significant increase in user registrations and feedback collection, showcasing the system’s ongoing efforts to enhance public service efficiency.
Grievance Resolution Statistics
In July 2025, the CPGRAMS portal received a total of 151,509 public grievances. Out of these, 147,902 grievances were successfully addressed, leaving a backlog of 67,118 cases. This indicates a robust response from the Central Ministries and Departments, reflecting their commitment to resolving public issues efficiently. The average grievance disposal time remains at 15 days, a testament to the effectiveness of the reforms implemented by DARPG. The report emphasizes the importance of timely grievance redressal in fostering public trust in government services.
User Engagement and Feedback Collection
The report also highlights a surge in user engagement, with 63,073 new registrations on the CPGRAMS portal in July 2025. Notably, Uttar Pradesh contributed 10,114 of these registrations, indicating a strong interest in utilizing the grievance redressal system. Additionally, the Feedback Call Centre collected 74,278 feedback responses, with 43,189 specifically pertaining to Central Ministries and Departments. This feedback is crucial for assessing public satisfaction and identifying areas for improvement in service delivery.
Integration with Common Service Centres
The CPGRAMS has been integrated with the Common Service Centre (CSC) portal, which is accessible at over 500,000 CSCs across the country. This integration has facilitated the registration of 6,422 grievances through these centres in July 2025. The report provides a state-wise analysis of grievances registered via CSCs, highlighting the major issues that prompted public complaints. This collaboration aims to enhance accessibility and streamline the grievance redressal process for citizens, particularly in rural areas.
Review Meetings and Performance Assessment
As part of its ongoing efforts to improve grievance redressal mechanisms, the DARPG has operationalized a Review Meeting Module since February 14, 2025. This module allows for Secretary-level reviews of public grievances, enhancing the efficiency of the redressal process. By the end of July 2025, a total of 132 review meetings had been conducted, with 23 meetings taking place in that month alone. The report also outlines the Grievance Redressal Assessment and Index (GRAI) for July 2025, recognizing top-performing departments such as the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, and the Ministry of Power, among others. This assessment serves as a benchmark for evaluating the effectiveness of grievance redressal efforts across various ministries.
