COVID19 Update
Acknowledging the prevailing COVID-19 situation and the significant achievements in COVID-19 immunization coverage worldwide, the Union Ministry of Health has further facilitated guidelines for international travelers in the context of COVID-19.
Vide these new guidelines, which will take effect from 00:00 (IST) on the 20thth July 2023, previous requirements for RT-PCR-based testing of a random subset of 2% of international travelers to India, have now been dropped.
However, previous advice on precautionary measures to be followed in the context of COVID-19 by airlines and international travelers will continue to apply.
The updated guidelines have been made available on the official website of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (https://www.mohfw.gov.in/).
