The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) recently hosted a special lecture honoring the life and legacy of Devi Ahilyabai Holkar. This event, titled “Devi Ahilya โ€“ Empress Renunciate,” was organized in collaboration with the Lokmata Ahilyabai Trishatabdi Samaroh Samiti. The lecture was delivered by Professor Uma Vaidya, a respected academic and former Vice-Chancellor of Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University in Maharashtra. The event was chaired by Padma Vibhushan Dr. Sonal Mansingh, a prominent cultural figure and former Member of Parliament.
