The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) completed its review today, revealing a list of cuts and modifications required for the film to receive an ‘A’ certificate. Cuts and Modifications Required by CBFC
The CBFC’s Examining Committee mandated a total of 21 cuts and modifications before granting Dhurandhar The Revenge its certification. Among the changes, the committee requested that several abusive words be muted or replaced with non-offensive alternatives. While the specific terms were not disclosed, it was noted that some dialogue was altered to ensure compliance with the board’s standards. Additionally, the film’s subtitles required corrections related to a historical event and the name of a city, reflecting the board’s commitment to accuracy and sensitivity in representation.
