Aamir Khan’s Anticipated Release
According to industry insiders, Aamir Khan is gearing up to release his much-anticipated film, Sitaare Zameen Par, on May 30. Initially, Khan considered a June release but has since shifted his focus to the end of May. This timing aligns with the conclusion of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on March 25, making it a strategic choice for attracting audiences. Sitaare Zameen Par is directed by R S Prasanna, known for his work on Shubh Mangal Saavdhan (2017), and features Genelia Deshmukh in a prominent role. This decision comes as the April schedule is crowded with major releases, including Sunny Deol’s Jaat and Akshay Kumar’s Kesari Chapter 2, which could overshadow Bhool Chuk Maaf. By shifting to May 9, the film would occupy a less competitive slot, allowing it to attract more viewers. The film stars Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi and is based on a unique and humorous storyline. Its teaser was recently attached to the prints of Chhaava, also produced by Maddock Films, generating additional buzz.
