Scene 1: Lakshmi’s Declaration
The episode opens with Rishi questioning Lakshmi. “What do you mean by this?” he asks, clearly puzzled. Lakshmi replies, her voice firm, “I mean I can no longer use your name. You now have a family, Rishi. I don’t belong there anymore.” Her words surprise Rano, who jumps into the conversation. “What are you saying, Lakshmi?” Rano demands. Lakshmi calmly explains, “I’ve broken ties with these false relationships. I will no longer use the Oberoi family name.” Her statement leaves everyone stunned, marking a definitive end to her connection with Rishi’s family.
Scene 2: A Sweet Moment at Home
Later, Parvati and Rohan return home from school. They eagerly run to Lakshmi, who greets them warmly. “I made Malpua for you,” she says, holding out a plate of the delicious treat. The children cheer and sit down to enjoy the snack, expressing how much they love it. Between bites, they begin talking about their upcoming science exhibition. “What kind of project should we make? In a private moment, Rishi catches up with Lakshmi. “Why did you give me a fake smile just now?” he asks. Lakshmi, without hesitation, retorts, “If you can make me fake promises, why can’t I give you a fake smile?” Her words sting, but Rishi tries to bridge the gap between them. Scene 4: Preparing for a New Chapter
The next morning, Lakshmi sends Parvati and Rohan off to school. She lovingly reminds them, “Take care of yourselves, okay?” The children nod and wave goodbye as they leave. This is your chance to impress him.” Malishka brushes off the advice, clearly uninterested in Kiran’s plan. “I have other priorities right now,” she says dismissively.
Scene 6: Lakshmi’s Act of Kindness
Lakshmi, walking along the roadside, prays to God. Her thoughts are interrupted by Shalu, who notices something is wrong. “You look unwell. Are you okay?” Shalu asks. Lakshmi admits she has been feeling nauseous lately. Concerned, Shalu suggests, “Let’s go to the doctor. I’ll get an auto.” As Shalu steps away, Lakshmi notices an elderly woman crossing the street. A car speeds toward the woman, and without hesitation, Lakshmi runs to push her to safety. In doing so, Lakshmi puts herself in harm’s way. The car comes dangerously close, but at the last moment, Rishi appears and pulls her away. “Lakshmi, are you alright?” he asks, visibly shaken. Lakshmi, however, walks away without answering. Determined, Rishi follows her.
Scene 7: Malishka’s Witness
Malishka, observing the entire scene from a distance, feels a surge of jealousy. She watches as Rishi tries to talk to Lakshmi, but their conversation is interrupted by the crowd gathering around them. Unable to get a moment of privacy, Rishi grows frustrated, but Lakshmi takes the opportunity to leave.
