Scene 1: Karishma and Malishka’s Secret Plan
The episode starts with Karishma approaching Malishka, concerned about what had happened earlier. “Malishka, are you alright?” Karishma asks, her face full of worry. Malishka, trying to appear strong, responds, “Yes, I’m fine.” Karishma, not entirely convinced, quickly advises her, “We need to inform the police about Balwinder. He tried to kill you, and if we don’t act, he could try again.”
Malishka, however, shocks Karishma by saying, “There’s no need for that. I made Balwinder do it.” Karishma looks stunned. “What? Why would you do that?” she asks in disbelief.
Malishka explains her twisted reasoning, reminding Karishma about something Rishi had told her. “Rishi told me that he would save anyone in trouble, no matter what. I wanted him to rescue me, so I made it look like I was in danger.” Karishma, still confused, questions Malishka’s motives further. “But why would you put yourself in danger like that?”
Malishka smirks and replies, “It’s all to make Lakshmi jealous. Jealousy leads to suspicion, and suspicion leads to fear. I want Lakshmi to be scared, to fear losing Rishi. I need that fear to grow inside her.” As Malishka continues explaining her plan, Kiran overhears the conversation from the shadows, her expression unreadable as she processes the disturbing conversation.
Scene 2: Rohan and Parvati’s Request
Meanwhile, at Rishi’s home, Parvati and Rohan, two young children, approach Rishi with excitement. “Rishi Bhaiya, can we please keep an aquarium in the house? We want to grow fish!” Parvati pleads, her eyes wide with hope. Rohan joins in, saying, “We used to have a fish named Bansi in our village, and we miss her. Please let us keep fish here.”
Rishi, trying to stay firm, shakes his head. “No, kids. We can’t have an aquarium here. It’s not that easy,” he says gently but firmly. The children’s faces fall in disappointment, but they try one last time. “But Bansi was like family to us! She made us happy,” Rohan explains, hoping Rishi will change his mind.
Seeing that Rishi remains unconvinced, Parvati and Rohan leave the room, ready to go finish their homework. As they walk away, Neelam, who had been watching the interaction, stops them. “I’m glad you two are not affected by everything that’s been happening in this house,” she says with a smile. The children nod politely and then leave.
Scene 3: Rishi and Neelam’s Conversation
After the children are gone, Rishi turns to Neelam with a warm smile. “You love talking about the kids, don’t you? I can see it makes you happy,” he says, noticing the sparkle in her eyes. Neelam smiles back at him but then becomes serious.
Malishka, who had been eavesdropping, suddenly speaks up. “I’m worried that Lakshmi won’t allow Parvati to stay in this house.” Her concern seems genuine, but it’s clear she has her own reasons for stirring up trouble.
Neelam, however, isn’t having any of it. “Don’t worry about Lakshmi. Parvati is staying in this house, no matter what,” she says firmly. “Rishi, you need to make sure Lakshmi understands that. Do whatever it takes to convince her.” Rishi looks concerned, knowing this conversation won’t be easy. Unbeknownst to them, Lakshmi overhears this exchange, her face falling as she processes what they’ve said.
Scene 4: Ayush and Ansh’s Tension
Elsewhere, Ayush has just dropped Ansh off at home. Before Ansh gets out of the car, he turns to Ayush and says, “I know you have a problem with me because of Shalu.” His voice is calm but direct, cutting through the tension between them. Ayush doesn’t respond right away, so Ansh leaves the car, letting the silence linger.
Not far away, Rano approaches Shalu, her tone curious yet suspicious. “What’s going on between you and Ansh?” she asks, raising her eyebrows. Shalu, caught off guard, asks, “What do you mean?” Rano isn’t satisfied with Shalu’s cluelessness and presses on, “You really don’t understand, do you? You should talk to either Ayush or Ansh and figure out what they want. You can’t stay in the middle forever.”
Scene 5: Lakshmi’s Inner Conflict
Shalu decides to take Rano’s advice and calls Ayush, hoping to talk things through. On the other end of the phone, Ayush hesitates. He debates whether to confess his feelings to Shalu but ultimately decides against it. Nervously, he cuts the call and turns off his phone, avoiding the conversation altogether. Shalu is left staring at her phone, confused and frustrated by his sudden silence.
Later, Lakshmi is seen in front of the prayer altar, her hands folded as she prays to God. Her thoughts are clouded by what she overheard earlier—the conversation between Neelam and Rishi about Parvati staying in the house. She doesn’t know what to do. Just then, Parvati and Rohan approach her with their innocent smiles. “Lakshmi Didi, can you please help us convince Rishi to let us keep an aquarium? We really miss Bansi!” Parvati pleads sweetly.
Lakshmi is touched by their request but doesn’t answer right away. Before she can respond, Rishi enters the room. “What were they asking you about?” he inquires, his tone soft but curious. The children quickly scamper off, leaving Lakshmi and Rishi alone.
Scene 6: Lakshmi and Rishi’s Emotional Conversation
Rishi, sensing something is off, asks Lakshmi, “Why are you upset with me? Is it because I didn’t buy you that bracelet?” He tries to make light of the situation, offering to buy her a new one. But Lakshmi, her emotions finally boiling over, responds, “It’s not about the bracelet, Rishi. It’s never been about the money.”
Rishi, now confused, presses her further. “Then why are you upset? What’s wrong?” he asks, genuinely concerned. Lakshmi takes a deep breath before replying, “I made a mistake, Rishi. I thought that maybe… there could be something between us. But I forgot—you’re married.” Her voice breaks as she admits her feelings.
Rishi, taken aback, looks at her with a mixture of guilt and frustration. “Lakshmi, you have a way of creating things in your mind that don’t exist. And in doing so, you end up hurting the people who care about you.” His words sting, and without waiting for a response, he walks away, leaving Lakshmi standing there, tears welling in her eyes.
