Lakshmi’s Efforts to Care for Rishi
The story begins with Lakshmi asking Shiv to prepare a bitter gourd juice for Rishi. She insists that neem be added to the juice to boost Rishi’s immunity, as he has been suffering from a cold due to low immunity. Shiv is happy to prepare the juice but insists that Lakshmi be the one to ensure Rishi drinks it. Lakshmi confidently assures Shiv that she won’t let Rishi avoid the juice, demonstrating her commitment.
Neelam’s Rare Display of Cheerfulness
As this conversation is taking place, Neelam approaches them. Paro notices Neelam and remarks to Lakshmi about how rare it is to see her smile, finding it surprising. Dadi also tells Neelam to smile more, acknowledging Paro’s observation of her usually stern demeanor. In a lighter tone, Neelam admits she has a reason to smile, confessing that her previous strictness may have been a mistake.
Family Conversations and Lighthearted Banter
Rohan continues the lighthearted banter by asking Neelam if Malpua has been prepared, which catches Neelam’s attention. Rishi mentions that Paro requested the sweet dish, and Neelam responds that she would have prepared it herself. However, Paro insists that she wants it to be made by Maa, referring to Lakshmi. Neelam reminisces about the days when Dadi made Malpua when Rishi was a young boy. As the family enjoys this moment, Mukesh, the house assistant, informs them that Sandeep Mishra has arrived. Ayush tells Dadi that Sandeep was involved in a land dispute that has just been resolved, and now they plan to build a new hotel on the land. Neelam encourages the pair to pursue this idea, expressing her support.
Malishka’s Sinister Intentions
Meanwhile, Malishka is shown to harbor ill intentions towards Lakshmi. She wants Lakshmi out of her way to execute her devious scheme. Shiv is sent to fetch the basil leaves that Neelam needs for her salad, and Malishka seizes this opportunity to try and convince Lakshmi that Paro has called for her. However, Lakshmi sees right through Malishka’s ploy and dismisses her, stating that they are not friends. Furious that her plan didn’t work, Malishka storms out, angered by her failure.
Rishi’s Reputation and a Dangerous Plot
Sandeep Mishra praises Rishi for his decision to seek his mother Neelam’s advice on everything. Dadi adds that Neelam is as important to the family as Veer. Ayush also mentions that they often seek Neelam’s advice on important issues. Sandeep proposes hoisting a large Maharashtra flag at their new hotel with the Chief Minister presiding over the event. Neelam is proud of this idea and agrees that celebrating Independence Day in this manner would be an honor.
As this conversation wraps up, the doorbell rings. Malishka, still fuming, shares her frustration with Shiv, warning him not to push Lakshmi too far, as she might become suspicious.
The Assistant of the Chief Minister Arrives
Shortly after, the assistant of the Chief Minister arrives and informs Rishi’s family that they have been asked to join the CM for the ceremony. Karishma accuses Lakshmi of being a troublemaker within the family. However, Aanchal defends Lakshmi, stating that Neelam gave permission for this event. Despite Karishma’s attempts to cast doubt, Aanchal insists that the CM specifically wanted Lakshmi to attend, as she has heard good things about her.
Lakshmi Faces Life-Threatening Danger
As tensions rise, Paro introduces herself to Sandeep, who is curious about her role within the family. Paro considers Lakshmi as her mother, a sentiment that Dadi explains, noting that Lakshmi is respected in the family for her role as a ‘bahu,’ or daughter-in-law. Despite Malishka’s bitter feelings, she realizes that her chances of harming Lakshmi are dwindling.
However, Malishka is not ready to give up. She enters the kitchen with a sinister plan to harm Lakshmi. Initially considering short-circuiting the oven, she instead decides to tamper with the gas cylinder, loosening the pipe to allow gas to leak. Confident that she has set her trap, Malishka leaves the kitchen, believing that Lakshmi will soon be in a fatal accident.
A Dangerous Explosion and Rishi’s Panic
In the kitchen, Lakshmi accidentally ignites a matchstick, causing the gas cylinder to explode. Rishi, in a panic, rushes into the kitchen, screaming Lakshmi’s name. Neelam is also seen running towards the source of the explosion, clearly worried about what might have happened.
